Happy new year!

Happy new year everybody! Our blogging has pretty much come to a stand still of late as we have been so busy with our family visiting and now we're back at school. Most of our loyal readers are also with us in person at the moment, so we didn't feel like we needed to update our blog since they've experienced all of our stories first hand. But this is, first and foremost, a place for us to keep track of our travels and exciting things that we've been up to, so we'll be bringing you posts from our Kuala Lumpur trip and our Vietnam travels soon!

Here are some very overdue photos of things we got up to towards the end of last year:

There is loads of construction happening all over Vietnam at the moment. There are some huge apartment blocks going up right next to our school. It's so interesting watching the building and seeing how quickly they're progressing.

Our absolute favourite restaurant in Ho Chi Minh is Master's Cup. They have awesome food, friendly (English speaking) staff and the best pie! We can't wait to take our family there this week, as we ran out of time when they first arrived in Vietnam.

Amazing baked cheese cake, apple pie, coffee and tea.

Pretty much all of our posts involve donuts of some kind. Dunkin Donuts just taste so good, they're cheap, and there's one right by our school! If we didn't eat so many donuts we could probably gym a bit less, haha!

'Mrs' and 'Mr' donuts!

Big Hero 6 is super popular in Vietnam at the moment - the kids are obsessed. When we saw this giant balloon outside of Cresent Mall, we HAD to get a photo with it!

An awesome tapas bar had a birthday celebration a few weeks ago. There was live music and some free tapas so we were in!

Craig, Michael, Duyen and Mel.

Awesome (but sooo loud) live music.

A friend of ours told us about a restaurant that sells really reasonable whole cooked chickens and potatoes. We added some veg and a delicious Sunday roast was born!
